Repeat Prescriptions

How Do I....
Obtain A Repeat Prescription?

Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion. Prescriptions are normally issued for a 28-day period and requests for them can be made via our dedicated prescription line on 01262 607613 from 9am - 11.30am and 1.30pm - 3pm. You must provide us with 48 hours' notice. Please make allowances for weekends and public holidays. Where possible, give exact drug names when ordering.
You can order your prescription in the following ways:

  • Repeat prescriptions can now be ordered on-line. To do this you will need to contact Debbie Winfield in Admin who will then send you a user name and password.
  • Dropping the right-hand side of your prescription into the box at reception, marking each required item with a cross. NO handwritten requests will be accepted.
  • By post, and if you attach a stamped address envelope we will send your prescription (not medicines) to you (unless you are a Dispensing patient).

Please make your prescription order clear and always remember to order your medication well in advance so you dont run out.

Dispensing patients of Field House Surgery (Rural Villages) can collect their medications within 48 hours from Boots Pharmacy within Field House Surgery.

All other patients will be required to give 72 hours notice for the dispensing process to be completed (we require 48 hours for the prescription to be raised, then 24 hours for a pharmacist to dispense the items.
