How Do I...
Make An Appointment?
The practice operates an 'open access' system in the morning up until 10.00am,
where no appointment is necessary. We will endeavour to add you to the morning’s
list with the clinician of your choice, but you must arrive before 10.00am. There
are ‘appointment only’ surgeries in the afternoon and appointments
can be booked up to one month in advance with a doctor of your choice. In addition,
anyone with an urgent condition needing to be seen that day will be seen by our
nurse practitioner who will triage and treat your condition appropriately. If
you are unable to attend an appointment you must notify the surgery immediately
so that the appointment can be offered to another patient. Alternatively, we
offer a range of telephone appointments each day, where a doctor will telephone
you to discuss any health concerns. They will try and telephone you at the appointed
time but please allow for earlier clinics running late.
Please telephone 01262 673362 or call at the reception desk for appointments.
In addition you can make appointments on-line.
Before you can use this facility you must request a user name and password.
Please contact Debbie in the admin department for further details.
If you are unable to attend an appointment you must notify the surgery immediately so that the appointment can be offered to another patient.
How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?
Routine, non-urgent requests for home visits must be made before 11.00am by phoning 01262 673362. After this time home visits can only be made if they are genuine emergencies that cannot wait until the next day. If at all possible please try to come to the surgery to be seen rather than requesting a home visit. Due to the demand, the doctors will determine the clinical appropriateness of the request. We reserve visits for patients who are incapacitated or too frail to attend. We appreciate your co-operation in this matter.
