The practice was associated with the Watson family from 1926 when Dr Leonard Watson took it over up until April 1998 when the last member of the family to be in the practice, Dr Alan Watson, retired. To commemorate their long and loyal service, the family opened the Watson Family Centre, the practice’s mother and baby unit, in June 1999.

We are happy to provide care for all patients regardless of their age, sex, nationality, colour, sexual orientation, background, creed or political persuasion. We will endeavour to treat you as an individual without prejudice.

We hope you find us approachable as we believe that good communication between us is the key to building a trusting relationship which will help us to help you.

We welcome new patients to the practice

Originally situated at Wellington Road, the practice moved to Victoria House (across the road from the present premises) in 1974. The present premises were purchased in 1984. These premises were originally a farm house and at the turn of the century were transformed into a health spa, owing to the fact that there were three wells providing natural spring water to the site. Evidence of this may still be seen today as there is a “sunken” bath in one of the surgeries, although it is now covered. During the last war the premises were used by the Fire Service, again due to the fact that there was a constant supply of water from the wells.

The results of the Patient Survey 2013 can now be viewed on the website.  Please see the  home page and click where indicated.  Thank you to all the patients who kindly completed a questionnaire.

The Practice will be closed from noon on Tuesday, 9th July, 2013, along with all other surgeries in Bridlington for a training event.  In case of an emergency please contact the Out of Hours Service on the usual telephone number.

We are delighted to annouce that Dr Zoe Norris will be joining us in August 2013.  She comes to us from Driffield.  More details will follow shortly.

We are also pleased to announce that Advanced Nurse Practitioner Jane Aconley will be joining our team on May 21st.  Jane joins us from Pickering.

Both clinical appointments will create more capacity within our appointment system.  However, you can still help to ease congestion by arranging routine appointments in advance and only contacting the surgery for an urgent appointment when your condition is urgent for that day and before 1pm where at all possible.

Did you know that you can now order repeat prescriptions and make appointments on-line by clicking the On-Line Service tab.  You do need to register to use this service.  Please contact Deb Winfield in the Admin department who will be able give you further information.
